Kinship Creek Ranch

Our western location, "Kinship Creek Ranch," is just outside Pagosa Springs, Colorado. It offers 75 acres of mountainsides, meadows, wetlands, a half mile of winding river, thousands of trees, a rustic cabin, large corral and a dirt road that winds three quaters of a mile from the entrance to the ranch at 7200 feet up to the top of the mountain at 7600 feet. Wildlife? It's abundant! Deer, elk, cougar, beaver, bear, bob cat, lynx and lots of birds, from hummingbirds to wild turkey. Will they all cooperate with your shooting schedule and blocking? Probably not, so we just put in a call to our "critter casting director" at the fabulous wildlife park just up the road. Of course, horses, mules, wagons and wranglers are available, too. As for Pagosa Springs, the town is story book west and made the top ten list of places to live in the U.S. this year. It's famous for it's hot springs, warm people, the San Juan Moutains ranching, river rafting, hunting and skiing at Wolf Creek Pass which gets the most snow of any ski area in Colorado. No more than fifty minutes from Durango, cliff dwellings, ghost towns and two steam railroads. Pagosa is the site of several major western films including John Wayne's "The Cowboys."
